Bath Painting

Every night in our home we have the same routine. I cook dinner, the kids and I eat, the boys get a bath, then one small snack for Nixon, bedtime story (which is normally a dinosaur book) and then bed. Every night.
I'm usually in such tired robot mode that it's scrub-a-dub-dub and let's get out of the tub. Tonight I decided that because Nixon helped me so much in my garden today (YAY for gardening season!!), that he deserved a special treat. So we made bath paint! The easiest thing to make EVER.
I want to be the mom that when my kids are older they look back and remember how much love and time I invested in them, regardless of how tired or haggard I look . So these activities to me are necessary!
Two ingredients: Shaving cream and food coloring!

I used a dollar tree Popsicle mold to mix them in because they did a terrible job making Popsicles and I'm kindddd of a craft hoarder and keep everything. I just filled each compartment with 1/4 cup shaving cream and a couple drops of food coloring. Mix it together and done! It could not be easier and be more fun for kids. It also washes off with no problems.
I must admit, I drew a few things on the wall but I am no artist and Nixon gave me a lesson on how to properly draw a butterfly. The awkward moment when your three year old draws better then you can...
Fun tub activity for the babes!!
Much love<3
